Your mission
As Global Battery Fleet Manager, you will shape the future of Epiroc’s battery-powered fleet by defining and implementing fleet strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and advancing sustainability initiatives. You will oversee battery system performance, optimize lifecycle management, and collaborate seamlessly across R&D, service, marketing and customer support teams.
Additionally, you will use data insights to improve fleet reliability, develop aftermarket strategies, and establish policies that promote long-term fleet sustainability. This highly cross-functional role requires both technical knowledge and strategic leadership to support Epiroc’s continued success in electrification.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Performance & Strategy– Define and monitor KPIs, optimize fleet efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. Lead the global battery fleet strategy in alignment with Epiroc’s sustainability and operational goals.
- Data & Lifecycle Management– Oversee battery system performance, lifecycle processes, and data management, ensuringtraceabilityand seamless integration.
- Aftermarket & Quality Support– Work with supply chain and service teams to enhance aftermarket support, implement predictive maintenance, and uphold high-quality standards.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you are forward-thinking and analytical, using data-driven insights to optimize fleet performance and guide strategic decisions. With a customer-focused mindset, you proactively identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability and aftermarket support. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working across teams to drive continuous improvement.
An understanding of battery technology, performance metrics, and lifecycle management is essential. Experience with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives is also valuable.
Additionally you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Operations, Data Science, Business Management – or the equivalent work experience.
- Experience in R&D, fleet management, operations development, or data management, preferably within the mining or heavy equipment industries.
- A background in battery systems or similar technologies is a plus.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.
