We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the Lantmännen Unibake Finland and Baltic team. In this role, you will report to the HR Director, and your primary workplace can be either the Salmisaari headquarters in Helsinki, or the bakeries in Vantaa, Hyvinkää or Joutseno. The role requires frequent traveling to our bakeries in Finland and Estonia.

As a Health and Safety Manager, you will lead initiatives towards safety culture excellence in our Finland and Baltic business unit. You drive the global H&S management plan locally and represent us at the global H&S forums and workstreams. You support the bakery management teams and H&S Specialists in development and deployment of the business unit’s H&S roadmap and objectives. In addition, you act as an occupational safety and health manager for the Salmisaari Headquarters and are responsible for developing further the site and employee security of the company.

To succeed in this role, you have experience and a proven track record from an H&S role in an industrial or manufacturing environment, and suitable academic degree, preferably technical or engineering. A strong knowledge of H&S legislation, standards, and best practices as well as experience in conducting risk assessments, audits and training programs is essential.

You possess good leadership, coaching, and communication skills to be able to collaborate and influence the cross-functional teams. Good working knowledge in English and Finnish is required.

You are a proactive, independent and hands-on leader with resilience and ability to maintain clear focus and prioritize.
