Region Jämtland Härjedalen
Region Jämtland Härjedalen consists of one hospital situated in Östersund, the only town in the county. Dispersed across the county we have 28 healthcare centres and 20 dental clinics.
Our vision is good health and positive environment for everyone in the county of Jämtland. This means that the region should cherish the people who are sick, but also work with preventive measures to help people to stay healthy.
Our task is also to take advantage of the county's opportunities and promote development in key areas such as skills, education, industry, habitat, attraction and infrastructure.
