QA Automation Tester

Job Description

Our experienced team consists of 4 professionals who have been successfully developing the 'Procurement Apps Portal' application for nearly 3 years. The team includes a dedicated Product Owner and three skilled Full Stack Developers. Our members combine frontend and backend expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions, while our Product Owner ensures strategic alignment with business objectives.

We are now looking to hire an QA Automation Engineer.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Cypress
• Develop automated API tests to ensure backend reliability.
• Conduct manual testing to identify potential issues before release.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to validate business requirements.
• Create and maintain test documentation and technical reports.
• Work with Azure DevOps to manage test cases and track defects.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software quality assurance.
• Promote best practices in testing, testability, and test suite maintainability.
• Continuously improve the QA process.

Qualifications

Who are you?

As our QA Automation Engineer you will bring experience in writing and executing automated end-to-end tests (Cypress or Selenium), in manual testing and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Next to this you bring:

• Experience in creating automated API tests.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Cypress is the target technology).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
• Experience with performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems
• Proactivity

It would be beneficial if you have:

• Knowledge of Gherkin language for test case creation.
• Familiarity with Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
• Ability to work closely with product owners to verify business requirements.
• Experience in writing technical documentation.
• Experience with Java and writing automated tests in Java.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and ability to write queries.
• Experience working in agile teams.
