Lantmännen Functional Foods AB is a company within the Lantmännen Group, focusing on the development and sales of functional and medical foods as well as health ingredients for food and feed. The company is in a build-up phase characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a large corporation. Due to a recent acquisition of a business that produces and sells various oat derived ingredients and an ambition to increase sales as well as to build up a network of distributors around the world, we now want to expand our team with a Key Account Manager for export sales.

This is what you will do

As a Key Account Manager you will be an important part of building new business. You will have sales responsibility for existing customers for the two oat derived ingredients PromOat, used in for ex. functional foods, and AvenaCare, used in cosmetics. Furthermore, your task is to map the market in terms of products, competitors and customers and convert leads to actual sales. You will also be responsible to identify and manage strong distributors for those markets where we do not envisage conducting sales of these products ourselves directly

You are reporting to the CEO of Lantmännen Functional Foods and you will be based in Stockholm or in the North of Europe, preferably close to an airport.

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • A genuine interest in the area of food including food ingredients and functional food.
  • A proven successful track record of at least three years of experience from structured and systematic sales preferably of ingredients, food supplements, foods or life science products internationally.
  • Experience regarding how to build and manage distributor networks around the world
  • A desire to travel extensively to build a global business
  • Minimum some kind of relevant post-secondary education

You are:

  • A person with a high energy level and drive.
  • Someone with an entrepreneurial and structured approach.
  • A person who to takes initiatives and can set and reach targets.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, a third language is of value.
